The exclamation mark in the end makes happiness unreliable. This is a film of a woman who sits on her own stool in the middle of the streets. She wears colourful clothes and has a medium sized red travel bag by her side. Her legs are crossed. She is confident. She hums a tune in her head, perhaps to create a bubble around her, as if to define her own territory, to house herself in a place she wouldn’t have belonged otherwise.
Her difference is visible through her dress, her attitude and her stubbornness to stay as the only person in her world. Her moves are like meditation. A move of a finger, a casual play with her eyelash, the placement of her hands and a quick wiggle of her feet.
Does she know what she is doing? Is she happy with what she does?
